In search of outcross genetics and a natural service sire that could add some genetic diversity yet not take away from the quality phenotype and production our customers have come to demand, we strolled over to the J. Forgason division of JDH Hudgins to visit Mr. Mark Forgason. It did not take long after seeing Verano, looking at his mothers production records, and seeing he was out of the Internationally renowned Massai 608/6, for us to pull the trigger. 

We think a ton of Verano in terms of correctness, eye appeal, expression of muscle and overall quality. Although never a show bull, his disposition has been fantastic and visitors have really admired his balance. Immediately he established himself as fertile and an aggressive breeder and we can't wait to see what he can do for BRC moving forward.
