BRC 978/8

One of our Maternal Merit winning female, 978/8 has been a young cow we have been waiting for the opportunity to put into our donor program but we wanted to prove her production before she was flushed. 3quality natural calves later and she has entered the donor battery. Affectionately known as Brandon's "Noah's Ark" cow, meaning if he had to start the Brahman population over she would be the female he would select. Moderate framed, fertile, and feminine while still giving off a look of quality. 

Production wise, after calving months before her 3rd birthday, she maintained a calving interval of 365 days which ultimately earned her an equal sign next to her name and from there we flushed her and are excited for her first embryo calves in the spring of 2025.

We really value the unique outcross pedigree of 978/8 who came as a pregnancy inside a purchase from J. Forgason Division at JDH. She combines classic greats like Atlas and Beto, and sports a pedigree stacked full of maternal performance sires. We are looking for long term function and maintaining convenience traits and think she is the perfect fit!
