Brandon Cutrer is widely regarded as one of the most accomplished and visionary Brahman breeders of the modern era. As the driving force behind many of the breed’s most iconic champions, Brandon holds a rare distinction: few, if any, living breeders have consistently produced as many national and international champions in the Brahman show ring as he has in the last 15 years.

From the United States to Latin America, his cattle dominate—yet the show ring has never been his goal. For Brandon, success is measured in functional, fertile, performance-driven cattle that serve the needs of real-world ranchers.

With a B.S. in Agricultural Economics from Mississippi State University, Brandon brings a strategic mindset to the business of cattle breeding, matched with the real world expertise of a gulf coast cattleman.

His leadership and insight have earned him positions on key industry boards, including the Texas Beef Council, the U.S. Meat Export Federation, and the American Brahman Breeders Association executive board.

His judging credentials span the globe, with invitations to evaluate elite national Brahman cattle shows in Mexico, Colombia, Nicaragua, Paraguay, and across the U.S.. He judged the prestigious 2021 International Brahman Show, which is the largest single beef cattle breed exhibition in the United States.

Brandon’s genius lies in his ability to balance pedigree, phenotype, and performance in every mating. He leads the genetic direction of BRC Ranch, where he has built a program known for excellence, consistency, and integrity. His bulls are used in herds around the world, and his cow families have become the foundation for programs on every continent where Brahmans are raised.

As the head of the Cutrer family, Brandon is a devoted husband to Rachel and proud father to Mollie and Annie. Known for his humility, kindness, and unwavering faith, Brandon is more than a cattleman—he’s a servant leader who quietly inspires those around him through action, example, and an unshakable commitment to doing what’s right in cattle and in life.
