Miss V8 21/8 Named “Miss World”

January 18, 2018
On January 16, 2018, Miss V8 21/8 wrapped up the Brahman show career of a lifetime by being crowned “Miss World” of the Brahman Champions of the World competition held at the Fort Worth Stock Show. The Miss World contest is coordinated by The Cattle Market, P.J. Budler, and is a tournament-style competition in which all of the champions from the largest Brahman show of each country compete for the title of “Miss World.” The first round of judging matches champions from each continent against each other. The winners of each continent are then brought together for the “Champion of the World” judging.
Miss V8 21/8 was selected as the 2018 Miss World. She is also the 2017 Houston Livestock Show Grand Champion Female, the 2016 Houston Livestock Show Grand Champion Brahman Female, and the 2015 National Champion Brahman female.
She is out of +Miss V8 382/6, a V8 901 daughter. She is bred and owned by Rachel & Brandon Cutrer.
During the “Champion of the World” week, Rachel and Brandon spent the week with the other continent winners from South Africa, Colombia and Brazil who made the top 3 of the bull and female competition. Mr. V8 604/7 was also in the competition as the champion of North America. We wish to extend a warm thank you to P.J. Budler, Steve Murnin and Mike McManus for coordinating the contest and tours.
