Keaton Dodd Named Director of Genetics for BRC

B.R. Cutrer is thrilled to announce that Keaton Dodd will serve as Director of Genetics, beginning in 2021. As director, Keaton will lead the BRC Genomics and Performance Programs. He will also coordinate the Brahman Country Genetics Cooperator Program.

Cutrer. “We are excited to have him join the BRC team; Keaton’s unique knowledge of Brahman genetics and pedigrees will help us continue to provide our customers with the best Brahman in the industry.”

Keaton holds a B.S. in animal science and will graduate in the spring with a M.S. in animal breeding from Texas A&M University, where his graduate research focused on the history of Brahman pedigrees and genetics. While at TAMU, he also served as coach of the Livestock Judging Team, and is an experienced livestock judge of all species. In addition to lecturing at Texas A&M in the Animal Science Department, Keaton has also been a speaker at BRC’s Annual Brahman Country Days Workshop.
