If you’re wondering how he got the name, it’s partially in keeping tradition with naming from the Yellowstone tv show, since he’s a half-brother to Dutton (both are out of 21 Boom Shaka Laka) — except his sire is Yeti! Get it – YetiStone?
Ever since his ad came out in The Brahman Journal in January 2021, both ours and Lanny Cowey’s phones have been blowing up with people asking about this bull! This is a bull that we’ve been really excited about all fall, but keeping it quiet so we can debut him as our first Young Gun 2021.
His mother, 21, is known for producing the great ones like Dutton, Boombox, Boomtown, and the 2020 Grand Champion Female at Houston. 21 is a former 2-time Houston Grand Champion Female and is one of BRC’s powerhouse females. YetiStone brings in that great cow power of 21 with a slightly different top side – being sired by Yeti (a 191 son). YetiStone brings in the best of these two matings. He’s a very moderate bull, especially being sired by Yeti, and as you can see, stands on tremendous bone, lots of muscle, and lots of style.
