Inaugural Brahman Country Genetics Female Sale a Success

The inaugural Brahman Country Genetics Female Sale was a huge success! This sale, hosted by BRC and Brahman Country Genetics, featured 45 females from 22 different consignors nationwide. Every female in the sale was either sired by a BRC sire or out of a BRC dam. The sale showcased the consistency and uniformity of the BRC bloodline in the United States.

DPE Miss Tweetie Jo 19/2 was the high selling female, selling for $10,500. She was purchased by A.J. Siddiki of Texas. This female was offered by Donnis and Jo Lynn Ellis of Danbury, Texas. She was sired by their natural service BRC herd bull.

Mrs DD Polled Venus 153

Mrs DD Polled Venus 153 was the second high selling female, and she was offered by Double Deuce Brahmans, Shannon Whatley family. She was produced as a result of a flush purchased from BRC donor 508 mated to BRC sire Captain.

Other sale topping features were offered by Garrett Harvey, Chad Beaver, and KS Cattle Company, all selling for $10,000 per head.

The Brahman Country Genetics Female Sale averaged $5700 per head on 45 head.

Cattle sold to Brahman and F-1 breeders in 5 states. There were over 250 people in attendance at the sale and over 150 bidders registered to bid online.
