Global Bidders Buy in BRC Bred Female Sale

August 11, 2021 – The BRC program continued to capture global attention as their 1st annual bred female sale garnered bidders from the USA, Central America, Africa, and Asia to compete for 9 of the excellent BRC-bred Brahman females. 

The high selling female, Miss V8 528/7, sold for $27,600 to CE Cattle Company of Texas.  She represents the Noble sire line and is out of current BRC donor Miss V8 562/7 from the 98 cow family.

The second high-selling bred Brahman female, Miss V8 667/8, sold for $14,600 to Avilla Farms of Mississippi. This female is 4 years old and sired by BRC’s Mr. V8 259/7, the 2013 Reserve National Champion Bull. Her dam is BRC’s Miss V8 626/7, Mollie’s National Champion Female. Bidders from the USA, Botswana, and Pakistan all cast bids for her ownership. 

Overall, the sale averaged $16,025 per head. Cattle sold to Tennessee, Texas, Mississippi, and Panama.
