Dutton Named 2019 Reserve National Champion Bull

November 25, 2019

Rosenberg, Texas – Mr. V8 376/8 “Dutton” was named 2019 Reserve National Champion Brahman Bull at the National Brahman Show in Rosenberg, Texas on November 23rd. Judge Joe Paschal selected Dutton from a field of over 200 Brahman bulls aged from yearling to three year old bulls. Dr. Paschal is regarded as one of the premier Brahman judges of the world, and complimented Dutton for his moderate frame size, ideal condition, structural soundness, muscling, balance and clean sheath.

Dutton is sired by Mr. V8 458/7 “Noble” and out of Miss V8 21/8 “Boom Shaka Laka” – both bred and owned by the B.R. Cutrer BRC Brahman program. They are branded with a V8 since during the time of their birth and branding, we were operating under that ranch’s marketing umbrella.

The night before the show, Dutton semen was offered in a special offering to benefit the American Brahman Breeders Association and was a sale highlight selling for $2,000 per straw. Jones Farm purchased the semen.

Watch for continued updates and opportunities on Dutton in 2020!
