Houston, Texas – BRC Ranch exhibited their championship show string at the 2024 Houston Livestock Show, which was also the 100th Anniversary celebration of the American Brahman Breeders Association.
The BRC team proudly claimed a record-number of awards at this prestigious show including winning three of the group class competitions (the most of any ranch), 9 class winners, 6 division champions, and the reserve grand champion bull.
Many international visitors observed the BRC show string to be the most uniform, highest quality group of grey Brahman cattle at the show from top to bottom. Visitors were also extremely complimentary of the depth of both our female and bull lineup. This sentiment was validated through the large amounts of cattle sales and semen/embryo sales that BRC made during the week. Demand for BRC’s Modern Brahman saw a 60% increase in sales from 2023, with cattle and genetics selling to 10 different countries during the week-long event.
