BRC Wins in 2024: A Year of Excellence
As we reflect on an incredible 2024, we can’t help but feel immense pride and gratitude for all the milestones we’ve achieved this year. One area that stands out is our success in the show ring, even though showing isn’t where we set our bar—it’s just one reflection of the quality and depth of the BRC program. We enjoy showing as part of our ranch advertising platform and love showing off our Brahman show cattle.
5 Shows: 75 Awards
In 2024, BRC attended just five shows, taking an average of 13 head to each one. For perspective, that’s a small number compared to the total number of shows hosted by the ABBA each year and a small number compared to what the typical “show” Brahman ranch attends. But what matters is the impact we made in the ring:
- 33 class wins
- 26 division wins
- 9 grand or reserve grand championships
- 7 out of 10 group classes won
This is an extremely impressive list, highlighting the quality of our Brahman show cattle.
Where the Bar is Really Set
While we’re proud of these accomplishments, at BRC, the bar isn’t set in the show ring—it’s set at the ranch. Our focus is on producing sound, functional cattle that excel in the real world. The banners we bring home are just icing on the cake, a reflection of the same qualities that make our cattle thrive on ranches around the globe.
