BRC Wins Grand Championships at Dixie National

JACKSON, MISSISSIPPI- B.R. Cutrer, Inc. exhibited at the 2020 Dixie National in Jackson, Mississippi and claimed the Grand Champion Brahman Bull and Grand Champion Brahman Female. They also exhibited the Champion Get-of-Sire and Champion ET Produce of Dam. Jennifer Parker judged.

BRC’s 805/8

BRC’s 805/8 was named Grand Champion Brahman Female and was previous selected as junior division champion. She is sired by +Mr. V8 380/6 and out of Miss V8 775/7 who we purchased from Southern Cattle Company. She was also a class winner at the 2019 National Brahman Show.

BRC’s 160/8 Bull

BRC’s 160/8 was named Grand Champion Bull and senior champion bull. This Noble son is out of Miss V8 835/7 “Lupita”. He has been a consistent bull on the show circuit including being a past Houston class winner. This moderate framed bull is already being used in Paraguay and Central America and will be a feature of our Houston stall specials.

BRC Independence 22

Our first BRC-branded winner claimed the Calf Champion Bull title: BRC Independence 22. He is sired by Mr. V8 146/8 and out of +Miss V8 797/6 Pork Chop. This young calf is a scurred bull and we are excited about his future.

BRC’s 117/9

BRC’s 117/9 was also a class winner and named Reserve Calf Champion Female.

We also claimed the Champion Get-of-Sire with Mr. V8 458/7, who is bred and owned by BR Cutrer, Inc. We want to thank Hammonds Brahman Ranch for allowing us to use their reserve division champion female in our get of sire class:

Hammonds Brahman Ranch of Oklahoma’s top Noble daughter.

Noble also sired the Senior Champion Female for Walters Livestock Enterprise and the Reserve Grand Champion Bull for Cash Bailey.
