BRC Spring Female Sale

The mark of a true seedstock breeder is that our customers flourish by using BRC genetics. Earlier this year, we reported that in the fall sale season, cattle sired by BRC bulls garnered anywhere from $3000 to $5000 more per head, on average, than cattle sired by other bulls from other Brahman ranches.

This is our goal. That our customers find being in the Brahman business both enjoyable, and profitable.

In 2023, we are doing something even more to help our customers in their Brahman success. We are creating a new, live, in-person Brahman auction FOR OUR CUSTOMERS to sell their cattle featuring BRC Genetics.

The inaugural BRC Brahman Country Genetics Elite Female Sale will be held on Saturday, May 27, 2023 at BRC Ranch in Boling, Texas.

It combines the marketing machine of BRC, Ranch House Designs, Brahman Country Genetics, and Infinity Cattle Services -- all working together to help you, our customers, successfully market your cattle.

Here's how it will work:

The sale is a consignment based sale featuring exclusively females that carry at least 50% BRC breeding. That means, the females must either be sired by a BRC / Brahman Country Genetics sire, or out of a female from the BRC program. (Any cattle carrying the R/M/AC shoulder brand are eligible regardless of their hip brand). We will be accepting Open Heifers, Show Prospects, Bred Heifers, and Cows.
Consignors will bring their cattle to BRC by March 25th for inspection. The deadline for nominations is March 1st. The nomination form can be found on the website as well as a link listed below in this letter. There may be exceptions to this, but all females must be to BRC by April 15th for pictures and videos, regardless.
Females will remain at BRC from the drop off date through sale date. During this time, BRC will prepare your cattle for the sale in terms of feeding, management, photography and videoing the cattle. Ranch House Designs will prepare the marketing and sale catalog. Everything will be done for you.
Consignors will pay $7 per head per day for feed and management fee. This is a 10% discount off our normal rates.
Consignors will pay a 15% commission to be part of the sale. This will cover all sale expenses.
After the sale, any feed and commission charges will be deducted from the sale proceeds of each lot.
