We are as excited about Hoot Owl and his brother Amos Moses as we have possibly ever been about young herd sire prospects at BRC. Hoot Owl is the older brother who was named reserve calf champion at San Antonio earlier this Spring at his first show. Both posses excellent breed character, the muscle and volume to generate, and near flawless feet and legs. Of the two, 248 is longer bodied, smoother built, and has so much style. 

Pedigree wise, it is hard to imagine a sire and dam more at the forefront of the modern Brahman. 160/8 was recently the Champion Get of Sire and second top point earner behind Captain at the 2023 International, and Boom Shaka Laka is a two time Houston champ, legendary Brahman Female who is responsible for generating 17 herd bulls active in Purebred Brahman herds including at least 10 current AI sires. That is a truly prepotent pedigree that is backed up by phenotype and an EPD profile ranking in the top 10% or better for nearly half the available traits.
