BRC Ella Bella Boom 159 is Highest Selling Female in BRC History

October 18, 2021

After three and a half hours of intense online bidding from Brahman breeders across the US and abroad, at 10:38pm on Tuesday, October 12, 2021, Jones Farm of Tennessee triumphantly claimed ownership of our most exciting spring born heifer of 2021.

BRC Ella Bella Boom 159 captured the hearts and eyes of some of the world’s most innovative Brahman breeders, garnering over 300 individual bids that took her to the final hammer price of $44,100.

Located in Finger, Tennessee, Jones Farm is one of the Southeast’s foremost Brahman operations.  They have made a commitment to producing elite Brahman cattle and were thrilled to add the daughter of BRC champion Boom Shaka Laka and Captain to their program.

The second highest seller at $17,800 was BRC Call Me Darlin 160, a March 2020 heifer sired by BRC’s Noble and out of the former BRC donor Miss V8 507/7. Ki Cattle of San Augustine, Texas selected this female to add to their premier herd.

The famous BRC “Mystery Lot” was BRC Republic of Texas 36 “El Tejano.” The semen sold for $1500 per straw, to Phillip Cattle of Palestine, Texas. “El Tejano” is co-owned by BRC and Santa Cruz Ranch and is a full brother to BRC Call Me Darlin 160.

The median sales price at the 2021 Best of the Spring Borns sale was $12,600.

BRC breeds championship pedigree, true performance Brahman cattle, backed by integrity and service. The next female sale is scheduled for May 2022.
