Not everyone is going to be a success in the Brahman business. Sadly, a lot of breeders don’t even make it 5 years. Brandon Cutrer discusses how to build the elusive program of success in the Brahman business: a long lasting, profitable, happy ranching operation that will be remembered for generations to come. He’ll discuss the key decisions and factors that impact a Brahman breeders bottom line and long term success. And, if you’re not on the right track now, how to turn your program around.

11:00 a.m. – “Where Do You Want To Be In 10 Years” – Rachel Cutrer, BRC
Many Brahman breeders have a vision of expanding, adding more cattle, and achieving higher sales prices in the next five to ten years. But, how do you do it? BRC is a shining example that new brands, and new breeders can make it in the Brahman business if you do things the right way. Rachel will explain the basics of pricing your cattle, determining value on cattle you may purchase, building a long-lasting brand in a sea of short term fads, and how operations can effectively market their cattle whether they’re new or old, large or small.
