Shreveport, LA – November 2020
B.R. Cutrer, Inc. exhibited 11 head of championship Brahman cattle at the 2020 National Brahman Show, held in conjunction with the State Fair of Louisiana.
Doug Pierce, of Blinn College, judged. There were over 600 entries of red and grey Brahman cattle at the show.
BRC exhibited 2 Reserve Division Champions, 3 class winners, and 4 second places. In addition, Noble sired one other division champion for our customers using BRC genetics.
Miss V8 805/8, our stunning cow calf pair, was a class winner and Reserve Senior Champion.
Miss V8 117/9 was Reserve Intermediate Division Champion, and has been undefeated in her class for her show career.
Other highlights from the show include:
- BRC Jumanji 67 and BRC Copperhead 66 – On the heels of being the high selling lot of our fall sale, these two full brothers topped 1st place and 2nd place in the January 2020 bull class, against over 20 head of bulls.
- BRC Rocket Buster 57, another bull in the calf division, stood 2nd in a highly competitive class and is owned by Hernando Guerra of Mexico.
- BRC BoomBox 38 stood second in class behind the calf champion bull, an another nice young bull for Satterfield Ranch.
- BRC’s Dutton 376 placed second in class behind the Grand Champion Bull.
- BRC’s two young females, BRC Lady Sugar 62 and BRC Lady Anastasia 56 drew quite a bit of fans from a very large class. We are very excited about their future!
